Bottle Flipping

3/4N were doing bottle flipping in maths. Every time we flipped it we wrote down the result. We tried to get it on the end, side and lid. It was possible but unlikely to land on the lid. It was likely that it would land on the side. All of 3\4N did it and it was fun.

We watched the digger and wrote about it.

We were illustrating a massive digger (great word by Declan) and wrote about the digger. As the digger was digging it hit rocks and we were watching. The digger was here to scoop the dirt off the ground so they could build a classroom.

What is an arborist?

On Wednesday we learnt what an  Arborist is.
It is a person who climbs a big tree and cuts
them down. On their boots there are spikes it
helps them to climb up the tall, humongous tree. There is a chainsaw connected to their belts.  The chainsaw helps them to cut the thick branches on the tree. After they chop the branch down they shred them.

Protractor Art

Our protractor art was inspired by the famous artist Frank Stella.
We were doing angle protractor art and everyone did it. Some got to do it on large paper and we got to colour big ones. Some created small ones. 90 degrees is a right angle, 40 degrees is called acute, 130 degrees is obtuse. We also did some patterns.
